Jack Ma or Ma Yun was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China on October 15, 1964. Jack Ma grew up in a simple neighborhood in Hangzhou in the 1980s. At that time, China had just opened up to western nations. During his life, he had to face various problems. Ma was rejected at every school where he wanted to study. Even since elementary school, he had received his math questions so well. But Ma persevered and got through it. From the age of 12 to 20, he rode his bicycle for 40 minutes to a hotel where he could learn English. Eight years of hanging out with many foreign tourists completely changed the way he looked at life. Ma thinks he thinks more globally than most of the rest of China. What tourists tell is very different from what is learned from teachers and books at school. Ma first used the internet in 1995 when he searched for the words 'beer' and 'China'. But at that time, Ma did not find the expected search results on the internet. Out of curiosity, he created a website for a Chinese translation service with a friend. In just a few hours, he received many electronic mails (emails) which were enough to help him build the site.

Founded Alibaba.com This incident became the trigger factor for the establishment of Alibaba Group four years later. Now, alibaba is the largest online retailer in China and is in second place in the world after Wal-Mart. He even started his career only as an English teacher. However, his role at Alibaba has always occupied a key strategic position. Its first site, Alibaba.com, was the first place to connect Chinese exporters with overseas buyers. His company was also able to quickly attract investors. Currently, Alibaba is intending to beat eBay, an online buying and selling site headquartered in the United States (US). Thanks to his persistence, two Alibaba sites, Taobao Marketplace and Tmall.com, now dominate China's shipping portal system. Without the slightest knowledge in technology and computerization, Jack Ma was able to become the founder of the largest online retailer in China, Alibaba Group. Thanks to his business, this former English teacher has succeeded in becoming one of the richest billionaires in the world.

Many entrepreneurs dubbed him as 'Crazy Jack' because of the super crazy and fantastic business ideas he put forward. No one is sure, Jack can realize all his business ideas. Instead of talking about the greatness of the company, he prefers to discuss how Alibaba can help consumers, create jobs and serve society. In the US, Ma found his dream. He visited Silicon Valley to see lots of cars passing by and super majestic buildings. That's where he found his fighting spirit to become a successful man.
